Housing Case Manager

This position requires someone who brings the right combination of experience, training, and heart. We are looking for someone who is ready to join a team of individuals that actively cares for the veterans in our community.

  • We currently have two transitional homes that serve our veterans in the community, and this position will focus on overseeing the homes, the participants, and the grant compliance required.

  • The experience and training side of the role focuses on the mechanics of the GPD program, completing required paperwork, reporting and staying organized. The Housing Case Manager must also ensure the homes are maintained at a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and organization so each participant has a stable and respectful place to live during their transition.

  • The heart of the position is equally important. This person must be willing to advocate for, encourage, and invest in the lives of the veterans living in the homes. The goal is not simply to manage housing, but to help each participant move from their current circumstances toward greater stability, independence, and the ability to successfully transition into a home of their own.
